Log in troubleshooting: access denied” or “forbidden”

The most common cause of a login error is signing in to the wrong Acast product. Work through these steps in order.

1. Check you’re on the advertising platform

Acast Podcasting (the creator hub) and Acast Advertising are separate platforms with separate accounts. Podcasting credentials don’t work on the ad platform, even if you use the same email address. If you also use Acast’s creator tools, log in as a creator or go directly to the creator hub.

2. Use the email that received your invite

When you sign up, we email you a link to redeem your invite. Check the inbox of the address you entered, including junk and spam. We recommend using a different email address from your podcasting account to avoid login problems.

3. Try a clean browser session

Ad blockers and browser extensions can block the login and trigger errors such as “forbidden”. Open a private or incognito window with extensions turned off, or try a different browser.

4. Make sure you have an ad platform account

If you’ve never signed up for the ad platform, create an account first.

5. Still stuck?

Contact us in the in-app chat or at support@acast.com and include:

  • the email address you used

  • a screenshot of the error message

  • your browser, and whether you use an ad blocker
